4th of July Miracle

Happy 4th of July! WallE and I travelled to Windridge Farm in Shelby, NC for a cross country school yesterday. Historically, WallE has not been on his best behavior on any cross country course, but yesterday he was great! 

We schooled with one other horse and WallE acted like he had been on the cross country course all his life. When I asked him to canter, he just cantered. When I messed the jump up, he said 'we will try again,' no fuss what so ever. It was a 4th of July miracle.

He was so perfectly behaved over our last set of fences (and in-between), that I hopped off as soon as we came to the halt and I hand walked him to the trailer. We are looking forward to our horse trail this weekend at War Horse!
