Tryon Excursion

WallE, Grace and I headed to Tryon on Thursday. Tammie drove behind us as we were worried that I would have trouble with the truck or trailer. We arrived safely, unloaded and prepared to school. Once Coco arrived, we took Grace out and schooled her. She was a delight. So much so, Coco decided to enter classes on Friday instead of just doing Saturday/Sunday.

When it was WallE's turn to school, he was a little wild on the flat. As soon as we started jumping he was perfect - never once refused.

Abbie and Jet also had a great school.

Abbie and I took the trailer and set up in a camp site. Then we went to have dinner and check on the horses.

The next day was show day. Coco and Abbie rode in the morning and rocked it. They had great courses and enjoyed their rides.

WallE was a champ in the afternoon. I even got into my half seat for one of the courses.

The next three days were a whirlwind. WallE did great. No refusals and a good attitude - even in the flat.

On the way home the truck went into limp mode with the trailer, Abbie had to come back to rescue us and then the truck drove fine the rest of the way home.

The Thursday after returning home, I bought a new truck and two weeks later sold the old truck. Sometimes new is better.
